Time Zones & Regional Settings
JiffyTrade™ uses the timezone configured in your WordPress settings to determine how dates and times are displayed throughout the plugin.
This ensures that timestamps remain consistent with the rest of your website and match the regional settings configured for your installation.
How Time Zones Work in JiffyTrade
JiffyTrade™ does not use its own timezone setting.
Instead, the plugin automatically follows the WordPress timezone configuration, meaning all timestamps will match the timezone set for your website.
This affects areas such as:
- document dates
- expense records
- activity logs
- reminders and notifications
Using the WordPress timezone ensures that all recorded events appear in the correct chronological order.
Where to Change Your Timezone
To adjust your site’s timezone:
- Go to WordPress Admin
- Navigate to Settings → General
- Locate the Timezone setting
- Select the appropriate city or region
- Click Save Changes
Once saved, JiffyTrade™ will automatically use the updated timezone across the plugin.
