Is the free version free forever?

Yes — the free tier stays free. Pro is optional for advanced reporting, branding, and productivity tools.

What does Pro add?

Pro adds deeper reporting/insights, additional branding controls, advanced filters/exports, more streamlined business automation, and premium templates.

All paid Pro licenses entitle the user to priority support direct from the plugin developer should they ever run into any issues or bugs — we aim to respond ASAP, and usually provide a solution within 24–48 hours.

Purchasing a Pro license is by no means required. Our plugin still offers a completely free version for all; however, we would recommend you upgrade if you wish to access the improved business features and priority support benefits.

Who owns my data?

You do. All customer records, invoices, quotes, expenses, and documents are stored in your own WordPress database on your own website. JiffyTrade does not store or control your business data.

How is my data protected?

All data is stored in your WordPress database and can be included in your normal website backups. JiffyTrade also includes tools to help export and restore your business data so you can protect your records.

Is JiffyTrade an accounting system?

No. JiffyTrade is a business management and document creation tool. It helps you create quotes, invoices, letters, and track business activity. Many users pair it with accounting software for bookkeeping and tax filing.

Will JiffyTrade slow down my website?

No. JiffyTrade is designed to run primarily within the WordPress admin area and does not load unnecessary scripts or assets on your public-facing website. This keeps your frontend fast and the plugin lightweight.

Is JiffyTrade secure?

Security is a priority. The plugin follows WordPress coding standards and stores your business data locally on your website. We also regularly review the codebase to ensure it remains secure and reliable.

What do I need to run JiffyTrade?

You only need a self-hosted WordPress website. JiffyTrade works with most modern themes and hosting environments and runs entirely inside your WordPress dashboard.

Where are PDFs stored?

PDFs are generated on-demand whenever you view, download, or email a document. The underlying document data is securely stored in your WordPress database, and the PDF is created from that data only when required. This keeps your hosting storage clean and efficient.

Can I email documents to customers?

Yes. You can send documents directly to customers by email from within the plugin. Pro plan users can also automatically attach professional Terms and Conditions documents to outgoing emails.

Does it work for tradesmen and sole traders?

This is who it’s built for: professionals who need quick invoices and quotes, tidy customer records, and clear reporting on demand. It was designed around real-world workflows used by tradesmen — builders, plumbers, joiners and electricians — and it fits just as naturally for freelancers, sole traders, and small businesses delivering paid services.

Is there a whitelabel plan?

Yes! We have a whitelabel plan available which you can find on our Pricing & Plans page. Our whitelabel version is free from all JiffyTrade branding and credits.

Can my clients see my license information?

No. License information is never visible to your customers. Documents sent to clients only contain the branding and details you choose to include.

We also offer optional license-level whitelabel settings (available on paid plans) which can be toggled via your JiffyTrade account or licensing portal. Please note: license-level whitelabelling does not remove JiffyTrade branding — only the premium whitelabel plan does.

Will the plugin continue to receive updates?

Yes. JiffyTrade is actively developed and regularly updated with improvements, new features, and security updates.

Where do I get support?

Use the Support page for links to docs and help channels. Pro customers can access priority support (if subscribed).
