Recurring expenses generate entries when they become due.

Automatic generation

When a recurring expense reaches its scheduled run date, a new expense entry is created.

An expense entry will be created immediately if the start date is set to past or present date.

Generate Due Now

You can manually trigger generation using the Generate Due Now button.

This will create any expenses that are currently due.

In normal operation, you should rarely need to use this button. The system automatically generates expenses when they become due. The button is provided as a manual option in case you want to immediately ensure everything is up to date.

Managing recurring templates

Recurring templates appear in the Recurring Expenses list.

From here you can:

• view template details
• edit templates
• pause recurring expenses
• delete templates
